In the Engineering Constructions category, the Jury Prize was awarded for the work entitled Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of a Girder Bridge from Prefabricated Beams. The jury awarded the prize for extensive research on the issue of bridges made of prefabricated non-gantries type KA, both their development, static effect and the most common defects arising during their operation. Furthermore, for specific examples of diagnostics and a sample proposal for possible remediation and study of manual calculation of bending moments compared to available software.
