In 2003, the Department of Architecture was established at the Department of Architecture, from which three years later, under the leadership of prof. Ing. Mojmír Kyselka, CSc. an independent department of architecture was established. The bachelor program Architecture and Civil Engineering was also accredited for the master's program of the same name, which the first students enrolled in the academic year 2008/2009 to be completed in the academic year 2010/2011 as the first graduates with the ²Ing degree. arch². On 30 April 2012, accreditation for both undergraduate and graduate programs was extended until 2018.
Professor Kyselka was replaced by Ing. arch Aleš Student and since 2014 head of department doc. Ing. Martina Peřinková, Ph.D., who is also the guarantor of both study programs Architecture and Civil Engineering (Bc. And Ing. Arch).
