Title
Aplikace nové generace pravděpodobnostních metod pro posuzování bezpečnosti, provozuschopnosti a trvanlivosti konstrukcí
Code
GA103/01/1410
Summary
The development of computer technology and new achievements in the theory of structural reliability indicate qualitative improvements of the structural design process including the assessment of safety, serviceability and durability. In the framework of research projects sponsored by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic, a probabilistic reliability assessment concept, SBRA (Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment), was developed. Attention was given to the theoretical substance of the concept as well as to its future applicability. The subject of the proposed research project is the further development and improvement of the SBRA concept, especially in following three directions: (a) The SBRA method will be expanded regarding its application allowing for structural reliability assessment during the life span of the structure.
