Academic staff working in the study program have been cooperating for a long time with a number of industrial companies (Eurovia CS, a.s., ArcelorMittal Ostrava, a.s., Skanska a.s., Metrostav a.s., IP systém a.s., RD Rýmařov s.r.o., Imecon Containers, a.s.).
Cooperation is reflected in the share of academic staff and students in solving problems of industrial practice, especially in the form of contractual research or cooperation on projects. From the students' point of view it is mainly the award of diploma theses based on current problems of practice.
Respondents from practice are involved in teaching, in the form of partial lectures on current topics from construction practice, expert consultation of diploma theses and organizing professional excursions focused on the design, manufacture and implementation of load-bearing structures of buildings.
