International Colloquium Reinforcement, Sealing and Bolting of the Rock Mass and Engineering Construction 2020

The Department of Geotechnics and Underground Engineering of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava together with Minova Bohemia, s. r. o. are traditionally hosts of the international colloquium on "Reinforcement, Sealing and Anchoring of Rock Mass and Engineering Construction" organized under the auspices of The Czech Tunnelling Association ITA-AITES, Czech Chamber of Authorized Engineers and Technicians, the chairman of the State Mining Authority and the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava.

Main Colloquium Topics

  • Application of new technologies and materials to increase the safety and to remove troubles and accidents in underground construction and mining
  • Application of new materials and technologies for stabilization of mine working in severe exposure and big depth (anchoring and bolting, new materials for building of road pack wall, combined reinforcement, safety dams, etc.)
  • New findings in area of materials and technologies for reinforcement and sealing of rock mass and engineering constructions
  • Experience from realizations in area of mining, underground and civil engineering
  • Development of technologies for reinforcement and sealing of rock and rock mass
  • Problems of stabilization measures during execution of underground constructions
